On the web Dashboard, the account activity panel helps you visualize how your are spending your time at your company. You can view worked hours by employees, projects, clients or services and choose a pre-defined time period (this week, this month, etc.) or select custom dates to analyze any period of time.

Worked hours by employee

This chart shows you the pulse of your company. You can see the total hours worked per day, grouped by user, while the trend line shows the total company time worked per day.

Worked hours by projects

This chart shows you how time is distributed across your active projects. This is great for service-oriented companies who work on many projects for different clients. Tip: Hover your mouse over a chart line to display more details.

Worked hours by clients

This chart shows you how your company time is distributed across the different clients you served during the selected time period. Use this data to make informed decisions when allocating resources to your clients.

Worked hours by services

This chart shows you how time is distributed across the services your company offers. 

Services help you categorize your projects. Let's say you're a digital agency offering web design, content marketing and app development services. You can set those services in TrackingTime and associate them to your projects. 

Projects, clients and services overview

This visualization shows you an overview of all your running projects, active clients you’re currently working for, as well as a breakdown of the services you’re offering to them. You can see the total amount of hours worked for each specific client, service and project. 

The trend bar (pictured in green above) compares total time spent on an project, client or service against the rest.

While these charts and visualisations give you an overview of the work your team is currently doing, the Dashboard also helps you get insights into the work habits and productivity of your employees. Here's how you can analyze your team's hours.

User comparison chart

This charts allows you to easily compare the total work hours by each active user in your team in the selected time period. Hover with your mouse over a user column to show more details.

Team overview

The team overview shows you a few stats about your whole team’s worked hours.

  • Total hours: The total number of hours worked by your whole team during the selected time period.

  • Week: The total number of days worked during the week in the selected time period. AVG shows the average amount of hours worked per day by the whole team.

  • Weekends: The total number of days worked during the weekend in the selected time period. AVG shows the average amount of hours worked per day by the whole team.

  • In / out: The average beginning and end of work time. In this example, you can say that people usually start working at 10:15 am in the morning and leave the office at about 05:35 pm.

  • Clients: The total number of clients served during the selected time period. AVG shows the average ratio of served clients and users.

  • Projects: The total number of projected worked on during the selected time period. AVG shows the average ratio of active projects and users.

  • Tasks: The total number of tasks tracked during the selected time period. AVG shows the average ratio of tasks tracked and users.

User overview

Click on a user box to display his complete working timeline for the selected time period. This visualization allows you to analyze how a person distributes her time during the day, what projects and tasks she has been working on, when and for how long.

Click on a user box to display his complete timeline for the selected time period. This visualization allows you to analyze how a person distributes her time during the day, what projects and tasks she has been working on, when and for how long.

Tip: The user timeline can help you for example to discover unhealthy working habits. Also, your employees have strict start and end working times, their timelines will show you exactly when the start working, when they leave the office and all they did in between.
