Mark time entries as billed

Roles: all roles | Paid Feature

Mark time entries as "billed" when they've already been invoiced to avoid double billing your clients, and keep track of your "billed" and "unbilled" total hours.

How to mark time entries as billed or not billed:

  1. Check the boxes on the left of the table, on your Timesheet report, to select the time entries to mark as billed or not billed.

  2. In the blue menu at the bottom, click on mark as billed or mark as not billed.

📝 The column "billed" will display a green dot if the time entry is marked as billed. Add the column if it is not visible in your table. The totals at the bottom w

ill display the total hours billed.

⚠️ Make sure that the Rates and Costs feature is enabled to be able to mark time entries as billed.

Export billed entries

Roles: all roles | Paid Feature

Easily export billable and billed entries from your Timesheet reports.

How to export time entries marked as billed:

  1. Go to Reports>Timesheets.

  2. Use filters to include any relevant data such as employee or project.

  3. Go to columns and make sure the column "Billed" and "Billable" are ticked.

  4. Once the report displays the desired data, click on the Export option at the top right. You can then choose the export format (CSV, Excel, or PDF) depending on how you want to process or share the information.
