Payments methods

While credit card is the most frequently used payment method by our customers, we support other payment options as well, specially in case of larger payments or annual subscriptions.

Credit and Debit Cards

The easiest way to pay for your TrackingTime PRO subscription is via credit or debit card. We accept Visa, Mastercard American Express and many other credit cards worldwide.

Wire Transfers and Paper Check

For annual subscriptions, we also accept payments via wire transfer or paper check. There's a minimum requirement of 20 seats. Please, get in touch with us in case you'd like to choose any of these payment methods and our sales team will help you out.

📝 Note: PayPal and Bitcoin are currently not supported.


What happens when your credit card fails

Payments can fail due to several reasons. For instance, a change in your card number, your card expiring, cancelation of your credit card, or the bank not recognizing the payment and taking action to prevent it. When a payment for your subscription fails, we'll notify you via email and automatically try again in 3 to 5 days.

Contacting Your Bank

Should you want to continue using the current credit card on file, we'd recommend you reach out to your bank. Check with them the reason for the declines and make sure they have authorized this card to be used for automatic payments of your TrackingTime PRO subscription.


How to update your credit card

In case your credit card has expired, or you want to use a different card for your TrackingTime PRO subscription, you can update your card on file the following way:

How to update your card on file:

  1. Go to the menu in the top right corner of your screen and select "Settings".

  2. Click on "Subscription".

  3. Click on "Update credit card'". A pop-up from our payments provider,

    Stripe, will appear on the screen.

  4. Enter the name and address associated to your new card.

  5. After filling out your card's details, click on 'Update Card Details' to securely update your payment info.


View your billing history

In the billing history section, you'll find all your past invoices as well as your upcoming invoice for your current billing period. Here, you can also download your invoices in PDF format for your records.


Download invoices

Once you have entered the information you need to be included in your invoices, you can download these for your records.


How to download your invoices:

  1. Click on the menu in the top right corner of the screen and select "Settings"

  2. Select "Subscription" on the left.

  3. Scroll down to your "Billing History"

  4. Click on the invoice you'd like to download. That's it. A PDF file including the billing details you entered will be downloaded into your downloads' folder.


Add your company billing data

If you need any specific company details such as company name, address, tax ID and any other information to be printed on your invoices, this is how you add it to your TrackingTime account:

How to update your billing details:

  1. Go to the menu in the top right corner of your screen and select "Settings".

  2. Click on "Subscription".

  3. Enter all billing data in the text field displayed under "Billing details".


Change the account owner

Roles: admin | Free Feature

The account owner is the one user administrator who is in charge of the TrackingTime account. They are the only user who can subscribe to our premium plans, update credit card details, cancel a paid subscription and close the account.

As the current account owner, you can transfer ownership to another user in your account.

How to change account owner:

  1. Go to the menu in the top right corner of the screen, and then select "Settings".

  2. Select "Account" and scroll down to find the Account Owner section.

  3. Select a user from the drop down list.

  4. Click on "Change Owner"
