Overview

Roles: all roles | Paid Feature

The Notes tab in each project allows team members to store important information, add context to ongoing work, and collaborate more effectively. Instead of relying on external documents or messages, notes can be written and updated directly inside TrackingTime, ensuring everything stays connected to the project.

You’ll find the Notes section by opening any project and selecting the “Notes” tab from the top navigation.

Supported styles

The Notes editor includes a single rich-text block that supports multiple formatting options so you can structure and highlight your content clearly:

  • Bold, Italic, and Underline

  • Bullet and numbered lists

  • Hyperlinks

  • Inline code formatting

  • Headings and text styles

  • Timestamps and user edit history

Simply use the formatting bar at the top of the editor to apply your desired style.

Versioning

Every update in the Notes section is saved with a timestamp and the contributor’s name. This allows you to review and restore previous versions of the content when needed — making collaboration easier and safer.

To view or roll back to a previous version, just click the version dropdown and select the desired edit.
