Here's how you can make the TrackingTime browser Extension work with a self-hosted version of Jira.

How to integrate with Jira

Roles: All users | Free Feature

How to enable the Jira integration:

  1. Download the TrackingTime Button Extension on Chrome, Firefox, Safari or MS Edge.

  2. Log in or sign up to TrackingTime through the browser extension.

  3. Navigate to "Custom Domains" in the extension, write your domain without the http:// and select jira.com rule and click "add domain".

And that's it! 🎉

💡 This is a one-way sync, so you will be able to see the info that you track from Jira on your TrackingTime, but not the other way around (you won't see the info that you track from TrackingTime on your Jira account). However, if you are looking to integrate the other way, it may be achieved with Zapier, which is an automation tool that can integrate apps.

The Button Extension and Zapier are not compatible, so please avoid using both of them at the same time.
