In case you're using the TrackingTime mac app and are not able to export reports in CSV format, the issue might be the usage of the hash character (#) in service, project, client or task names or on time entry notes. For some reason, the latest macOS versions apparently have a problem with that.


We're currently investigating the root of this problem, so that we can fix it. In the meantime, the best workaround is to remove the #'s from your texts. Then you'll be able to export your reports in CSV format using the mac app. In case this doesn't work, please get in touch and we'll help you out.

Another option would be to use our web app to export your reports.
